A group of musicians will hit the stage at Town Hall Seattle for a memorable concert that puts a classical spin on some of the most popular rock songs of all time. And, the entire ensemble is made up of cellists!
Joshua Roman is the Artistic Director of TownMusic (he oversees all of the classical music performed at Town Hall Seattle), and for the upcoming show he has hand-picked cellists to play alongside him. Joining New Day today with Joshua are fellow cellists Efe Baltacigil (Joshua's successor as Seattle Symphony Principal Cellist), Julie Albers (solo cellist and chamber musician based in Atlanta, and Richard Belcher (cellist of the Grammy-nominated Enso string quartet).
You can catch Joshua Roman and an all-cello ensemble tomorrow night at Town Hall Seattle, as part of the TownMusic series. The concert begins at 7:30. For more on the event, visit the Town Hall website by clicking here.
