Friday, June 1 is National Doughnut Day, and Top Pot Doughnuts plan to celebrate in a big way. Mark Klebeck, Top Pot's co-founder, joined Caspar Babypants (aka Chris Ballew) to perform a song very fitting for the occasion. The two then joined Margaret to talk about National Doughnut Day activities, Top Pot's partnership with Northwest Harvest, and Caspar Babypants' new CD (Hot dog) and music video (Stompy the Bear).
Caspar Babypants and Kate Endle also have a new book, AUGIE TO ZEBRA. They invite everyone to join them at Northgate Mall Friday, June 1st at 10:30am, where they'll perform from and sign copies of AUGIE TO ZEBRA, as well as their other books and CDs. Top Pot Doughnuts is hosting National Doughnut Day celebrations all weekend at all of their locations (click here for a list). They invite everyone to bring a donation of cash or non-perishable food to their locations, as part of Northwest Harvest's Summer Hunger Challenge tomorrow and all weekend.
