According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 2 million people worldwide live with Multiple Sclerosis. MS affects the central nervous system, is chronic, and unpredictable. Every year, people in cities across the US walk to raise money for, and awareness about the disease, while researchers continue to test new treatments.
Here in the Northwest, there are people from all walks of life living with MS, including the man behind one of the most popular sports mascots around, "Blitz" from the Seahawks. Blitz's alter-ego, Ryan Asdourian, and Neurologist, Dr. James Bowen, joined Margaret to help shed some light on this disease, as well as bust a few myths about MS!

Ryan's Team Blitz Pub Crawl takes place this Saturday, March 16th, in Seattle. For more information, including how to take part, please click here.
