We welcomed aerial photographer John Scurlock to our show who has taken breathtaking shots of the Cascades for a new book called "Snow and Spire - Flights to Winter in the North Cascades Range." He came to share the story along with more incredible shots.
John will discuss his book and sign copies tonight, Jan. 5th at a free event at the Seattle REI store. The "Mountain Aerial Photography" event gets underway at 7 p.m., sponsored by the Washington Ski Touring Club. They will also collect donations at the event for the families of Mount Rainier Park Ranger Margaret Anderson, who was killed on New Year's Day, as well as another ranger who was injured.
