Singer-songwriter Andy Grammer has gone from busking in Southern California to the top of the charts in just a few short years. His first single, "Keep Your Head Up," was featured in the movie "Pitch Perfect," and became an anthem for people looking for a ray of hope in their lives. With more than a million and a half downloads of his first two singles, which also hit the top of the Adult Pop Radio charts, Andy has been launched onto the national stage. He's headlining a cross-country tour to support his upcoming album, Magazines or Novels.

Andy stopped by the show today to perform his newest hit single "Back Home", then sat down with host Margaret Larson to talk about his incredible career so far, and share the personal stories behind a few of his hit songs.

Andy performs tonight (Monday, July 14) at Neumos in Seattle, along with Andrew Ripp and Brendan James. The show starts at 7pm and is all ages. Andy's new album Magazines or Novels is expected to be released on August 5th, but can be pre-ordered by clicking HERE.
