What happens when you take two people who barely know each other, from radically different ends of the political spectrum, and put them on an RV bus for a month-long road trip across America?
Well, that's the idea that came out of a late-night Twitter chat between actor and comedian Michael Ian Black - a democrat - and Meghan McCain, a writer, blogger and daughter of 2008 republican presidential nominee John McCain.
The result is one of my favorite books of the summer, called America, You Sexy Bitch, and it is a hilarious look at trying to find common ground in uncommon territory.
