In 2006, Darlene Barnes undertook a challenging mission to feed dozens of young men in the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity at the University of Washington. Darlene chronicled her adventures in a blog, which turned into a book entitled: HUNGRY: WHAT EIGHTY RAVENOUS GUYS TAUGHT ME ABOUT LIFE, LOVE AND THE POWER OF GOOD FOOD. Darlene chatted with Margaret about the lessons she learned during her seven years as the fraternity's chef- and share her secret to a perfect pot roast. Several Alpha Sigma Phi members cheered her from the audience, and one talked about what Darlene still means to them.
