What began as a training exercise for an Irish Olympian has now become Seattle's largest single-distance running event. The super fun St. Patrick's Day Dash has been an annual tradition for 28 years already, and this Sunday, March 17, 2013, it returns for its 29th year, all to benefit Northwest Children's Charities via The Detlef Schrempf Foundation.
A great time is always had by all. Former Seattle Super Sonic, Detlef Schrempf and his wife Mari, are here to get us excited for this year's dash.
The 29th annual St. Patrick's Day Dash happens on St. Patty's Day this Sunday, March 17, 2013 starting at 8:00am at the Seattle Center. You can still sign up for the race online or at select locations.
