The Seafair festival is always a fun time that brings the Northwest together every summer, and each year one man and one woman who've made significant contributions to the community are honored as Seafair King and Queen. Past royalty have included Reverend Samuel B. McKinney, Washington's former First Lady Mona Locke, and astronaut Bonnie Dunbar. This year's royalty are Sound Transit CEO Joni Earl and acclaimed film and television actor Tom Skerritt.
