Island in San Juans for sale once owned by Gene Hackman

SEATTLE -- An island hideaway in the San Juans formerly owned by actor Gene Hackman and his wife is now on the market for $3.48 million.

Hackman and his wife sold the property in 2005, according to Puget Sound Business Journal.

Fawn Island is 2.3-acres. It includes 3-bedroom, 5-bathroom main home with a 360-degree deck. There are also two guest houses.

The island has a pier and private dock. It's only accessible by boat, floatplane, or whatever water conveyance you choose. It's a five-minute boat ride from Deer Harbor Marina.
