The northern Cascades in Washington state are expected to get 3-to-12 inches of snow Sunday into Monday.

The National Weather Service is issuing a Winter Weather Advisory for the central and north Cascades until 10 a.m. Monday. This is mainly for elevations above 3,500 feet. Travel may be difficult at times over Stevens Pass today and tonight.

Heavier snow totals are expected at Mount Baker and Stevens Pass. Less snow is expected at Snoqualmie Pass, where a rain-snow mix is expected.
