Kyle Foster was out for an evening boat ride with his family when they caught an extraordinary sight.
Foster's boat was headed south from Gig Harbor to the Narrows when they saw a whale breaching in the middle of the channel. Foster saw the whale breaching a few times, all of which were a special treat.
"That's once in a lifetime," he said. A few times over!
