All King County Metro Transit buses will be free for riders on New Year's Eve for the first time ever.
Riders can take the bus at no cost Sunday and until 4 a.m. Monday.
Metro will also add service to its night routes since more people will be out and about. The Seattle Streetcar will also be free.
If you want to take light rail, you still have to pay. But Metro says Sound Transit will run the last trains a couple hours later than a typical Sunday. The last train leaves Angle Lake Station heading north at 1:30 a.m. and the last train from the University of Washington heading south leaves at 2:00 a.m.
You will still need to pay to use Sound Transit Express buses.
