Hazen beat Kennedy Catholic 42-21 in the Big Game of the Week on Friday.

Hazen, which is ranked first in the division, hosted Kennedy Catholic (5-3) at Renton Memorial Stadium.

The Highlanders (6-2) has lost just one league game, a 48-52 thriller to Kentwood.

Freshman quarterback Sam Huard, the son of Husky legend Damon Huard, led the attack for Kennedy Catholic.

Hazen senior running back Delvon McNeely is one of the best backs in the state, and the game against Kennedy was no exception. McNeely scored five touchdowns against the Lancers.
