Burglars broke into a Bothell pot shop Wednesday morning by ramming their car into the front of the store.
It happened at Have a Heart in the 22000 block of Meridian Avenue S.
General manager Taylor Rausch says the burglars backed their vehicle into the front of the shop around 2:00 a.m. Surveillance video shows them getting away with a "considerable amounts of product" in less than five minutes.
"Right after the fact, it looked like a bomb went off inside of our shop," Rausch said.
Employees hope to get the front door replaced as soon as possible.
Rausch is open to additional security enhancements to protect the shop and its product.
"At the end of the day, the most helpful thing for us probably will be to have stuff out front so cars can't approach the building like that. I would recommend that for other cannabis businesses as well," he said.
