Reese Witherspoon Springs For Another House
Fresh out of the pokey, Reese Witherspoon has added another Brentwood Circle home to her real estate collection. The Oscar-winning actress, whose recent arrest alongside her hubby rocked her girl-next-door image, has plunked down $3 million for a ranch-style house in the same neighborhood where she already owns two homes. Maybe acquiring more homes is the kind of move you make when you’re looking to keep a low profile by hanging out at home more.
Jillian Michaels’ House Weighs In at $2.45M
The fitness guru who scares the pants off people with weight issues to help them become “The Biggest Loser” has filled out a bit herself. That is, Jillian Michaels and her family have grown with the addition of a second child, so Michaels and her partner, Heidi Rhoades, have listed a home on Groveland Drive in Los Angeles. Michaels bought the place for $1.565 million in 2008, but the 2,701-square-foot home with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms might be a little too small for the burgeoning family. It’s now on the market for $2.45 million.
Hassle-Free Shopping Frees Hasselhoff
Finally, after listing his Encino home back in November, former “Baywatch” hunk and “America’s Got Talent” judge David Hasselhoff found a buyer. Listed for $3.795 million, the 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom estate has sold for $3.549 million. Hasselhoff purchased the property from actor John Goodman in March 1996 for $1.98 million
Because Even Superheroes Can’t Live in a Phone Booth
Captain America, (aka actor Chris Evans), has avenged his desire to own a home in Los Angeles. The star of “ “Captain America: The First Avengers” and “The Avengers” has purchased a new home in Hollywood Hills for $3.52 million. It is definitely bigger than a phone booth: The gated Laurel Canyon home is a sprawling 4,599 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, a pool and spa.
