Sopheatheara Kim pleaded not guilty to murder Tuesday in court.

KENT, Wash. - A Kent man accused of firing shots into the Pacific Community Center last month and killing a man appeared before a judge Tuesday.

Sopheatheara Kim pleaded not guilty to murder.

Kim is accused of fatally shooting 21-year-old Shiloh Drott Nov. 14 at a church-sponsored event for teens.

Chatri Thip, a friend accused of being with Kim at the community center and Salomon Phe, who is accused of giving them both a ride, also pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of rendering criminal assistance.

Prosecutors say Kim was upset that people inside the community center had given him dirty looks.
