Eighteen-year-old Caleta White is about 5’1” and weighs 83 pounds. She was last seen Aug. 21.

Her mother last saw her the day she was taking a bus on the 1700 block of Auburn Way North, heading to Tukwila to see her boyfriend.

Caleta missed a doctor's appointment a few days later. She had been getting medical help for an eating problem.

Police said her boyfriend has a criminal background.

Her sistern, La Rhonda Ward, said Caleta called her daily.

"She's one of these people who loves to talk," she said. She fears she won't hear from her again.

"She's never done anything like this before, I definitely think there's some foul play involved," La Rhonda said. "I miss her...she was a very happy person."

"She's had ample time to contact family and she hasn't, her acquaintances, her boyfriend have a criminal background, the acquaintances' story about when they last saw her are inconsistent," said Jamie Sidell of the Auburn Police Department.

"Maybe she's somewhere against her will; it's just really odd for her not to contact us," La Rhonda said.

If you know anything about Caleta White's whereabouts, please call Auburn police or 911.
