Charles Batchelor goes by the nickname, Burt.

EVERETT, Wash. – An elderly man reported missing from an Everett group home for seniors on Sunday morning was found about a quarter mile away from the home on Sunday evening.

Charles Batchelor, who goes by his nickname, Burt, was found by a Snohomish County Search and Rescue team in some brush near the Boeing freeway.  He had apparently wandered off along the Interurban bike trail and gotten lost.

About 20 people were searching for him when they found him around 6 p.m. Sunday. He was cold and wet, but otherwise ok.

Batchelor is originally from Montana, and has been living at the Everett area group home for three weeks.
