Stolen tow truck found in Medina

LAKEWOOD, Wash. - A tow truck reported stolen in Lakewood Saturday was later found in Medina, according to a spokesperson for Gene's Towing.

The vehicle is described as a red International 4700, license plate number A51762Y.

The theft happened just after 9 a.m., when a driver for Gene's, located at 9212 So. Tacoma Way, was helping a customer release their impounded vehicle.

While the driver was in an office getting paperwork, the customer came in and said someone had jumped in his tow truck and driven away.

The vehicle was described as a red International 4700, license plate number A51762Y. A reward was offered in the theft.
