Sheriff’s deputies were looking for 71-year-old John Christiansen. He and his wife were visiting the area for a convention, deputies said.

Christiansen was last seen Saturday morning. His wife told deputies that he drove their car to a nearby restaurant, and was scheduled to come pick her up. However, he never returned.

Christiansen has Alzheimer's disease and his whereabouts for the 14 hours he was reported missing is unknown. His wife was driven back to Walla Walla by a relative.
