STANWOOD, Wash. - The Stanwood Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating 94-year-old George Wyrsch.

Stanwood PD

George Wyrsch

Wyrsch was last seen at a gas station in east Stanwood Friday at approximately 3:30 pm. He was in the car while she went to the restroom.

When she returned, he and the vehicle were gone.

George Wyrsch suffers from dementia and has little or no sense of direction.

He is described as a white male, 5-feet-8, 235 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He may be driving a dark burgundy 2001 Lexus 4-door, Washington License 227MLY.

Wyrsch used to live in the North Bend area for many years and may try to find his way there. He also vacationed annually in California.

Because of his dementia and advanced age, he is unable to care for himself and is considered to be at risk.

Anyone seeing Wyrsch or the vehicle is asked to call 911.
