Police in both Washington and Oregon had been searching for 66-year-old Gordon Janssen.

Police in Kitsap County say Janssen dropped the students off and said he was going to park the bus someplace and meet them at an agreed-upon time.

When he did not return, police were called.

He was found Sunday afternoon, dead inside his bus. Police said it appeared to be natural causes, and he may have died in his sleep.

Janssen had operated the tour bus for 26 years.
