SEATTLE - King County sheriff's detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a south Seattle apartment complex.
The shooting took place at about 11 p.m. Monday night at the Willow Terrace apartments at 1100 S. 99th Street near Boeing Field in the Normandy Park neighborhood.
"We received a call of shots fired at this apartment complex," said Sergeant Ted Boe. "Officers responded and found a male shot in a vehicle. He is deceased at the scene."
According to Boe, the victim is a 25 year old male. He was found in a blue Ford Explorer.
"It appears (he was shot) multiple times," said Boe.
Joe Torres, a resident in the apartment complex said he heard rapid fire shots.
"I heard, like five shots. I was thinking it, like, was fireworks," Torres said. "It was like five shots, like bam, bam, bam, bam. Very fast."
Boe said the shooting victim didn't live at the apartment complex but had a family member that did.
Investigators are talking with one possible witness. So far, no arrests have been made.
