Search for suspect in Tacoma double stabbing

TACOMA - Police are searching for a suspect in the stabbings of two people early Thursday morning. The victims were discovered in two different locations.
According to police the stabbings occurred shortly before 5 a.m. in the neighborhood around South 9th Street and South Yakima Avenue, just south of Wright Park
Police said the stabbing victims called for help within a minute of each other.
One of the victims was found at S. 11th and S. I Streets, the other at S. 11th and S. Yakima.
The victims, a man and woman, were in serious condition. The woman was taken to Madigan Army Medical Center, the male went to Tacoma General Hospital.
Police have a vague description of the suspect. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Tacoma Police.
