Apolo Ohno to be inducted into Asian hall of fame

SEATTLE - The Asian Hall of Fame will induct speed skater Apolo Ohno at a ceremony in Seattle next week.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist is one of two inductees for 2007. Attorney Loida Nicholas Lewis will also be inducted. She is the chair of an investment firm.

Past recipients of the honor include former Governor Gary Locke and actor Yuji Okumoto.

The Asian Hall of Fame was founded in Seattle in 2004. The organization hopes to take its work national.
