Lacey home gutted by fire

LACEY, Wash – Firefighters battled fire and the threat of falling power lines as a home went up in flames Friday.
The fire was reported around 11 a.m. in the 5500 block of Crestview Loop.
The owners weren't home at the time.

Neighbors reportedly tried to put the fire out with a garden hose before firefighters arrived. The firefighters had to back off from the fight after it appeared a power line linked to the home might come down.
There is no immediate word on injuries or how the fire started.
