TACOMA - A body found Sunday night in Gig Harbor has been identified as 45-year-old Tanya Rena Crawford, who disappeared last month.

Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said a jogger discovered the body at 22nd Ave and 36th Street NW, near the Madrona Links Golf Course.

There were no obvious signs of foul play on the body.

Crawford was last seen Feb. 9, and had not contacted friends or family members.

She lived in an apartment in the 7600 block of 44th Street West in University Place, and disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

Investigators have asked anyone with information to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
