Sea lion climbs on top of car in Seattle restaurant's parking lot

Salty's on Alki A sea lion managed to make his way onto a car in the parking lot of Salty's restaurant. Click to enlarge SEATTLE - A sea lion chose the environmentally-friendly car out of a parking lot at Salty's on Alki Restaurant on Wednesday for a little rest. The animal looked like he was trying to catch some much-needed sun rays atop the Toyota Prius. Tim O'Brien, the restaurant's sommelier, managed to coax him off the roof of the car and back into Elliott Bay. The seal dented the top of the car with its weight. "Looks like he gave us the seal of approval," said O’Brien.
