| Recommended Tacoma woman accused of killing 13-month-old son

TACOMA, Wash. – A 20-year-old Tacoma woman will likely be in court Friday, suspected of killing her 13-month old son.
Tacoma Police received a call from Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Tuesday saying a child with signs of shaken baby syndrome has been brought in, according to police spokesman Mark Fulghum.

It’s not clear who brought the boy to the hospital. He died on Thursday.
The mother was booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of homicide by abuse.
