Semaj Booker in January 2007

TACOMA, Wash. - A Pierce County Juvenile Court judge could decide today whether 11-year-old Semaj Booker knew it was wrong to break into a Tacoma apartment last July.

The decision will determine whether Semaj faces a burglary charge.

The Tacoma News Tribune reports a therapist testified Wednesday that Semaj was sleep-deprived because medication made him agitated and he was unable to tell right from wrong. However the therapist says the boy shows remarkable sophistication when he has a goal in mind.

Semaj made headlines in 2007 when he talked his way onto two airline flights and flew alone to San Antonio. He tried it again in May but was stopped at Sea-Tac Airport.

He's on probation for also stealing a car in 2007 when he was 9.
