'Dangerous' robber hits Tacoma bank

TACOMA, Wash. – Police detectives are looking for a bank robber they describe as dangerous.

Tacoma Police say Stefano Andolini, AKA Jerald Helsel, is wanted for first-degree robbery.

On July 17, detectives say Andolini robbed a Bank of America in the 3400 block of S. 23rd St. around 3:30 p.m.

Andolini walked up to the counter and handed the teller a note demanding cash, then took off.

Andolini is a white male, 45-years-old, 6-feet tall, medium

build, bald, and has a thick gray mustache.

He has an extensive criminal history of violence, and should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pierce County Crime Stoppers at (253) 591-5959. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charges filed in the case. Callers will remain anonymous.
