Signature Drink – A Cosmo of Course

Serving a signature cocktail is a must, a Cosmo of course with a martini thrown in now and then.  If you want to mix it up, literally, create a martini bar with flavored vodka’s and the accoutrements to dress each drink up.  If you don’t have the time to pick up flavored vodka, then one high quality vodka will do, try something close to home like Crater Lake Vodka it’s filtered 10 times through charcoal and crushed volcanic rock and aged slightly in new oak.  Add candy cocktail twists that infuse the vodka with flavor and look pretty all at the same time.

Martini Tower

Take the signature cocktail to a new level and incorporate it into the décor.  Using several plastic martini glasses build a tower by securing them together with hot glue.  Add pink colored water to each glass, and it will create an inexpensive and festive centerpiece.

Make it casual and set a table with your favorite appetizers for your guests to snack on all night long.  Use shoeboxes to create different heights to display your appetizer platters. Be sure to print pictures of your favorite shoes online, trimming each picture to fit the end of each shoebox as they would be if you actually purchased those Manolo’s.

The fifth character in the Sex and the City series was always the city of New York.  Bringing that city feel home can be challenging in a sophisticated way.  Create cocktail napkins by stamping each one with I heart New York, and put together a flower arrangement centered around a decorative Empire State Building.
