BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Detectives are on the scene of a possible homicide in the 400 block of West Bakerview in Bellingham.
Bellingham Police say a woman's body was found about 75 feet off the road in a wooded area by an acquaintance.
Both the man who found her and the victim have frequented a homeless encampment in the area.
Police detectives are calling it a suspicious death.
The identity of the victim - a woman in her late 30s or early 40s - has not been released.
