SEATTLE - A Seattle woman, who was convicted 12 years ago for killing her boyfriend's girlfriend, pleaded not guilty Wednesday of trying to kill again in a jealous rage over a man.

Patricia Crowl was charged with attempted first-degree murder in November. Police say that using text messages, she lured her new boyfriend's ex to a Kirkland parking garage and attacked her. The 28-year-old woman called 911 with her cell phone to say she had been "stabbed everywhere" and told police where to find her; she survived after being rushed to Harborview Medical Center.

The judge on Wednesday issued a no contact order for Crowl, who is being held on $3 million bail.

Crowl, 55, was released from prison in 2006 after serving time for bludgeoning and choking a pregnant woman named with a wrench in 1997. The victim had been dating Crowl's boyfriend at the time. Crowl hid her body under her house before dumping it in a South Seattle ravine.

Denise, I totally agree with you. You know, it's obvious these people have mental issues, or they wouldn't kill or try to kill, but why does that make the acts excusable? Not guilty, yeah right. History repeating itself. They should be charged like any normal person and taken off the streets. You did this, this is the punishment. Wonder how long she was in jail if it was 12 years ago that she was convicted? Will they let her go again and see if we can do one of those 3 strikes you're out numbers? Why do they have to have bail options at all? Why give some nut job a chance to go berserk like Clemmens, you don't get to redo the shoulda woulda coulda's. Very scary what people get away with. All too often any more the criminals have more rights then their victims.

Not guilty? Gee is it just conincidence that another ex or current girlfriend of someone she is dating is attacked? I commented on a previous story about the current case stating that it is too bad someone can't get the death penalty for attempted murder. If any case warrants it, this one does. I am sick of people playing the "mental illness" card to try to get away with killing, or attempting to kill. Lock her up in the general population.
