SEATTLE - Bail has been set at $1 million for a 63-year-old man accused in the shooting death of a man in West Seattle on Saturday.

The shooting took place Saturday night in the 6500 block of California Ave. SW.

Someone drove the 36-year-old victim to an assisted living center instead of a hospital. He was then  taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died early Sunday.

A court on Monday found probable cause for the crime of homicide.  The deadline for a charging decision is Jan. 25.

"The deadline for a charging decision is Jan. 25" they have to charge him with 'something' to hold him in jail....murder has no statute of limitations, and charges can brought at any time in the future.
