SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. –  A 60-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy from Concrete were killed in a two-car crash in Snohomish County Saturday.

It happened about 10:20 a.m., just east of Oso on State Route 530 at Whitman Road.

The State Patrol says a westbound pickup truck driven by John H. Jones of Concrete turned left in front of an eastbound pickup driven by 29-year-old Robert M. Boggs of Arlington.

The resulting collision pushed both vehicles in the eastbound lane.

The patrol says Jones and his 12-year-old passenger, Dakota Robertson, were killed, while Boggs was injured and rushed to Cascade Valley Hospital.

That's an awful road to have to travel at any time of the day. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
