POULSO, Wash. -- One man is dead Wednesday night after officers responded to a shooting at a tire center in Poulsbo.
Police say they were first called to the Les Schwab tire store at 424 Northwest Edvard Street at or around 6 p.m. on multiple shots fired.
After the scene calmed down, police told KING 5 that one man was dead but couldn't comment any further.
An eyewitness at the scene says that she saw a man waving a gun in the air near the tire store. Police then asked him multiple times to put the gun down and when he didn't, the man was shot.
Family tells KING 5 the man on the ground is 25-years-old and has had no connection to this particular Les Schwab store. The family also tell us that he's never been in trouble and they didn't think he even knew how to shoot a gun.
No officers were injured in the incident. Three officers are on administrative leave until police figure out exactly what happened.
This is a developing story and the story will be updated as more information is available.
