ARLINGTON, Wash. - A 22-year old man has been arrested in the death of an Arlington woman, whose body was discovered in her burning home.
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office says the woman was strangled prior to the fire, which was reported at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The fire was contained to the front living room of the home in the 18600 block of Silverleaf Place.
The 22-year-old man rented a room from the victim. He was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on charges of Murder, Second Degree and Arson, First Degree.
