Most humans need help with self control when food is around. But man’s best friend has it even harder. Dogs can be trained to do almost anything -- sit, shake and even rollover--but discipline when food is around is another issue.

For Tiger, a 6-year-old Staffordshire terrier and American bulldog mix, it’s her strength.

You see, it started out with balancing dog biscuts on her head.

“My dad at a very young age would balance snacks or biscuts on [Tiger’s] head,” said Andrew Small of Crystal River, Fla.

Then one day, Small decided to put a piece of ham on Tiger’s head.  His friends thought it was funny, so he tried other food.  Tiger can balance a piece of pizza, a can of soup and even a bottle of maple syrup

That evolved into a blog called Food on My Dog. Small updates the website every day with a new food for Tiger to balance on her head and even takes requests.  The blog started in late December and since then thousands of people from all over the world have clicked to see what new food she can put on her head.

Tiger, a rescue dog, doesn’t complain about her special skill.

“She likes it because she knows she is getting a reward…I wouldn’t do it without giving her a reward,” said Small.

And Tiger doesn’t eat everything that she can balance.

“Tiger gets to eat most of the food.  What she doesn’t eat, I eat.  No food goes to waste.  She doesn’t get to eat food that’s not good for dogs either,” said Small.

Her favorite food?  Kraft singles.

You should really spend your time with your dog taking it for a walk or throwing a ball. The dog looks humilated. I don't think it's funny. It's abuse. Might want to think about using your free time a little wiser.

My dog would eat whatever he can with the exception of oranges, and a few other things. If he could, he'd eat chocolate not knowing its not good for him. Dogs are dogs, sometime they dont know whats good for them that why we the owners have to. I know he doesnt like oranges as he turns away. He eats strawberries and most fruit like mellons. I would not place food on his head, nor eat any thing that was up there that he didnt eat..

I agree with brester on this one. The dog really doesn't appear to enjoy this "game."

From the pictures on the blog I can clearly see the dog doesn't like this! He says the dog get to eat most of the food, but only food that are good for dogs! Cucumber, maple syrup, lettuce, fried egg, taco, egg in a toast, bacon, fries, birthday cake, doughnut, raw bacon, cracker jack, banana, fruit loops, pasta, cinnamon bagel, french onion dip, sweet tarts, pizza, chocolate frog, nutella! The list goes on and on, I do not see much on the list that a dog would, or could eat! A few of the items, like chocolate and onion are potentially deadly for dogs!
