BOISE -- Authorities say three Caldwell children taken by their mother over the weekend could be in Arizona.
The FBI issued another alert Monday afternoon, asking for the public's help in locating the children.
Investigators believe the mother, 35-year-old Bertha Sabala Guerrero, is traveling to the Phoenix area, and then on to Mexico. Guerrero has relatives living in Phoenix and Mexico.
She is believed to be traveling with her 5-year-old daughter Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez, 7-year-old daughter Mirella Guerrero-Lopez, and 9-year-old son Ubaldo Guerrero-Lopez Jr.
They may be in a gray or silver 1986 Pontiac 6000, 4-door sedan, with Nevada license plate number 389XPR.
Guerrero lost custody of the three children in Dec. 2011 after she left them with a woman she had just met. The kids were placed in foster care.
On Friday, Guerrero picked up the children for a 24-hour visitation and failed to return them on Saturday. She is now wanted for custodial interference.
An Amber Alert was issued early Sunday morning. Here are the descriptions of the children and their mother.
Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez is a 5-year-old Hispanic girl with black hair, brown eyes, about 3 feet and 7 inches tall, and weighs 45 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweater, pink shirt with money on front, blue jeans with flowers on bottom and shiny black boots.
Mirella Guerrero-Lopez is a 7-year-old Hispanic girl with black hair, brown eyes, about 4 feet tall, and weighs 55 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan and pink coat, blue jeans and brown and pink shoes.
