SEATTLE - The arraignment for the man accused of killing Seattle police Officer Timothy Brenton on Halloween has been postpone for a third time.
Christopher Monfort remains in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle recovering from a Nov. 6 police shooting. The 41-year-old Tukwila man facing charges of aggravated murder, attempted murder and arson. His second court date was scheduled for Dec. 8, pending his release from the hospital. His arraignment is now set for Dec. 14.
Monfort is charged with aggravated murder in the Halloween shooting of Officer Timothy Brenton. King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg will decide whether to seek the death penalty.
