The rent generation: More millennials are skipping home ownership

Members of the millenial generation are putting off plans of yardwork and mortgage payments. 

More people under 28 are choosing to rent apartments instead of buy homes. 
 
"I can't imagine myself being in that position anytime soon," 24 year old Jessica Winkler rents in downtown Seattle and likes being close to restaurants, bars and other shops. 
Downtown, construction is booming with lots of room to rent. Amenities are close by and it frees up a lot of travel time. 
 
Other millenials are moving back home after college to save money.
