Health care reform expected to insure additional 800,000 Washingtonians

There are a million people in Washington state that don’t have health insurance. You may be one of them. But during the next three years, the Affordable Care Act has one goal: to get you insured.  

It’s called the Individual Mandate and it means just that. Starting next year, with only a few exceptions, people have to have health insurance.

For people who already have insurance, not much will change. For those who don’t, pay or be fined; but your income will dictate how much you have to pay. In fact, some people will pay nothing.
