Shaving heads for childhood cancer research

SEATTLE – Every year at Fado Irish Pub, along with the brisket and beer, the patrons go bald for the wee ones.

St. Baldrick's Day parties all across the nation raise money for childhood cancer research.

Last year, more than $12 million in grants were awarded.

According to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, each year 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide.

To date, more than 106,000 people have shaved their heads in solidarity in 50 states and 24 countries.

It seems they would not post my other comment.. ? Bottom line many doctors are curing cancer and have been for the past 20 years without chemo. Cancer is big money and if they found a cure all hospitals could not stay open. I no longer give my hard earned money to find the cure. They have enough money without our money. So if you really want to help someone with cancer raise money to help pay off someones high cancer medical bills. We all know someone with cancer. That will make a better difference. They have money to cure cancer they just don't want to bottom line. Save your hair or give the money raised to help those cancer patients pay off their medical bills.

Keep your hair! There is a cure for cancer... MANY doctors are curing cancer they have been for the past 20 years! and... without CHEMO! STOP giving your hard earned money away to help find the cure for cancer people. THEY have ENOUGH money to cure cancer! 70 % of oncologists would never themselves take chemo because it does not work! Also.. women.. DON'T get mamograms! YOU are just future breast cancer patients! Those machines.. they GIVE cancer! Think about it not all women will get breast cancer... so WHY do ALL women need a yearly mamo? BECAUSE.. it is a BIG MONEY MAKER! BY law.. oncologists have to offer chemo! BUT many would never take it themselves! There are other alernatives that are working for many. Back to the mamograms .. you can get an ultrasound and that is SAFER! If they cured cancer all hospitals would have to close down. It is all about your imune system. IF your imune system is good you cannot get cancer! YOU do not have to die! YOU can live!
