At the beginning of July the U.S. Department of Treasury gave some businesses a health care reform reprieve and delayed the so-called employer mandate for one year.
That meant employers with 50 or more employees do not have to offer health care benefits to their full-time employees or face a fine -- at least for another year.
Patrick Connor with the National Federation of Independent Businesses sgguested that the law was just too complicated for many businesses.
