KING 5 HealthLink will air a special half-hour program on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. about health care reform. HealthLink Special Report: What you need to know about Health Care Reform will focus on two important parts of the Affordable Care Act: the individual and employer mandates for insurance coverage.
New groups of individuals will be eligible for Medicaid or subsidized health insurance starting October 1, but not many know what resources are available. The HealthLink special report will follow two people trying to sort through the process: a 19-year-old student who doesn't have access to health insurance through parents, and a single parent of two children who has a good job but no insurance.
HealthLink Special Report: What you need to know about Health Care Reform airs on KING 5 on Thursday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. Additional airings will take place the same evening on NWCN at 9 p.m. and on KONG TV on Sunday, July 28 at 7 p.m.
