A new consumer reports study finds it pays to shop around for generic prescription drugs. The study finds prices vary widely among pharmacies by as much as $100 in some cases.

According to Consumer Reports investigators, Costco had the cheapest prices overall. For example, a month's supply of the anti-depressant Lexapro cost $7 there, compared to $126 at CVS.
