NASA technology is behind a new air purifier said to help get rid of airborne pathogens that cause allergies.

Airocide" is an FDA approved air purifier and it's getting a lot of buzz because it zaps pet dander, bacteria, mold and other pathogens on contact. There's no filter to clean or panel to wipe.

While some swear by it, the Airocide comes with a hefty price tag: $800.
