Whooping cough cases in Wash. 14 times higher than year ago

Whooping cough cases have now topped 2,500 in Washington state - that's 14 times higher than a year ago this time.

As the numbers continue to rise, billboards are going up in the hardest hit areas to remind people to get their T-Dap booster shots. Bus signs will be next as the state tries to curb the growing epidemic. For the latest on those efforts, KING 5's Jean Enersen talked with Washington state Health Secretary Mary Selecky.
